Construction Industry Scheme
If you are a contractor I can register you for CIS and verify your sub contractors with HMRC, issue your sub contractor statements, do the calculations and submit your monthly returns. If you are a sub contractor I can register and verify you with HMRC, and complete your paperwork including your invoices.
Trial balances, trading profit & loss accounts and balance sheets
I can produce all of these for you at any time of your financial year, enabling you to see how your business is doing at any given point in time. At your year end, being able to give these documents to your accountant will greatly reduce the time they will need to produce your final accounts and should reduce their fees!
Tax Returns
I can ensure that all of the right tax deductible expenses and capital allowances are claimed to minimise your tax bill, complete the return on your behalf, and provide a clear explanation of your tax calculation
Payroll
I can make sure that your employees are paid accurately, on time, every time, whilst conforming to RTI deadlines. I can also keep you up to date with all relevant legislation changes.
VAT accounts and returns
I can register you for VAT, keep your account updated, do the accounting calculations, generate the paperwork, and submit your quarterly returns in a timely manner to avoid late payment fines.
Record keeping
I can record your keep your books in order and record your payments and receipts (i.e. cash and petty cash books, sales, purchase and nominal ledgers).
Bank reconciliations
I can make sure your bank statements agree with your own records and resolve any discrepancies.
Quotes and invoices
I can prepare and send them to your clients and do any VAT and discount calculations for you.
Creditors & debtors lists and credit control
I can keep records of how much each client owes you and how much you owe your suppliers, produce reports telling you who are your best and worst customers, and chase any overdue payments on your behalf.
Payments to suppliers and sub contractors
I can help you with online banking and make payments on your behalf, ensuring supplier payment deadlines are met and your credit rating stays high.
Liaising with accountants and HMRC
You can authorise me to deal with HMRC on your behalf, saving you precious time waiting in their telephone queue! I can also deal directly with your accountant, providing any information they request.
Pensions Auto Enrolment
I can find out your staging date and help you prepare for it, advise you on your contribution costs and liaise with the Pension Regulator on your behalf. I can also coordinate the changes for your employees, enrol those eligible into the chosen scheme, and process the contributions as part of your payroll.
